The SONARtrac flowmeter from CIDRA (USA) is based on the SONAR PASSIVO Technology. Installed outside the pipe, in addition to measuring the Pulp flow, it also indicates the Percentage of Air incorporated in the fluid. Used in key process measurements for control and/or  mass balance. Applied to the main pipelines and tailings in Brazil.
